• Recent experience at a large workers’ compensation defense firm in the subrogation department. 

• Brings experience across case evaluation, discovery, depositions, mediation, arbitration, lien negotiation, disbursement, and trial preparation. 

• Strong background in statutory, regulatory, and contractual liens, including Medicare, California DHCS, hospital liens, provider liens, and child support liens.

• Drafting, opposing, and arguing motions including motions to compel, motions to change venue, motions to dismiss, and summary judgment motions

• Trial preparation, including trial briefs, exhibit preparation, jury instructions, motions in limine, and direct examination preparation 

• Workers’ compensation subrogation and third-party liability / lien negotiation experience
